Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to use this website, request services, provide your phone number, or opt in to receive SMS messages from The Junk Guys. By using the site or submitting your information, you confirm that you are 18 years of age or older.

Services

The Junk Guys provides junk removal and hauling services in Southwest Louisiana, including single-item pickups, mixed junk hauls, furniture and appliance removal, property and estate cleanouts, construction debris removal, storm debris removal, and hoarding cleanouts. We cannot accept hazardous materials without a custom quote and may refuse them. All services are subject to site conditions, scheduling availability, and the agreed scope and price.

Booking and Appointments

Booking requests made through our website, phone line, or text message are requests for service and are not final until confirmed by our team. We may contact you to verify project details, property access, timing, and scope before placing you on the schedule.

If you need to reschedule, please give as much notice as possible. Missed appointments, inaccessible properties, or no-shows may result in a delayed reschedule or an additional trip charge before service is rebooked.

Pricing and Payment

Most jobs are priced on-site based on the volume the junk takes up on our truck and trailer, or as a flat fee for single-item pickups. You receive a firm price before we load anything, and that price is what you pay. Larger cleanouts may require a quote or a scheduling deposit, which will be stated in writing in advance.

Payment is due upon completion of the job unless otherwise agreed in writing. Returned payments, chargebacks, or unpaid balances may be subject to collection costs and any remedies allowed by law.

SMS Communications

By providing your phone number and checking the SMS consent box, you consent to receive recurring SMS messages from The Junk Guys. These include service-related messages such as appointment confirmations, scheduling reminders, arrival updates, job updates, and follow-up messages, as well as occasional promotional messages such as offers, seasonal specials, and review requests. SMS consent is not a condition of purchase. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply.

Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, The Junk Guys is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the site or our services. Our total liability for any claim related to a specific job will not exceed the amount you paid us for that job.

Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Louisiana, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute arising from these Terms or our services will be handled in the appropriate state or local court in Louisiana.

Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time to reflect changes to our business, services, legal requirements, or communication practices. Updated Terms will be posted on this page with a revised effective date, and your continued use of the site or our services after that date constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
